When babies are born their vision is blurry. There are developmental stages that are important for achieving their visual skills:
– From the moment they enter the world and until they are approximately 3 months old, babies observe their surroundings in black and white. That is why the cards are a support to stimulate the visual perception of the buses through different illustrations of the Chilean fauna and geometric shapes that will enchant them and keep them interested for long minutes.
– As they grow, between 3 or 4 months, babies can already see reddish tones that allow them to make contrasts of colors and shapes due to their luminosity compared to other colors that do not have it.
– Between 6 and 12 months, the sight of babies is becoming aware of the existence of other colors outside of red, however, they are still not able to dissociate from each other.
It is essential to develop visual activities that stimulate them at this stage, since they feel attracted and interested in exploring the world through images and objects with a variety of colors.
