"Birds are revealed in the air, sea, forests, valleys, deserts and wetlands. Their characteristics are fantastic. In this work certain points of their morphology are explained and texts are added that complement the illustrations.
With long hours of detailed study and selection of birds, I have wanted to merge the great beauty of these winged beings with informative and useful pieces. Each species has a brief description and its distribution areas within Chile.
All the illustrations are works on 30x40 cm paper. developed by hand with mixed technique, mainly watercolor, which give life to the protagonists of this map.
The great objective of this research is to introduce less popular feathered animals, but with magnificent presence , to broaden the range of observation and appreciation of these multifaceted inhabitants with whom we share territory." - Pascale Marie
