Incredible! This precious result was created from handmade papers using the marbled paper technique. Likewise, several pieces of paper were used, which were folded, to give shapes to units of modules combined in angles, varied lines and giving volume to the space of the map.
On the other hand, the idea was to carry out a cartography applying a variety of folded papers , which allowed to graphically represent the map of Santiago, with different dimensions and colorful volumes. On the other hand, the interest of making this composition was to represent the contours, the surface and the angles through the technique of folding the papers and transmitting the complexity and growth of the city.
IMPORTANT : The Original Map was digitized in the highest quality and reproduced in digital printing on art papers, specifically 310gsm semi-textured Cold Press Paper.
