Old Map of the area known by the Spanish as "Arauco", in the south of Chile, where the Mapuche People lived (and continues to live) and all their traditions.
The Map includes an extension drawn between Chillán to the Valdivia area. As its legend says: " Map of a part of Chile, which includes the land where the famous events between the Spaniards and Araucanians took place. Composed by the handwritten map of a Chilean poncho: By D. Tomás Lopez."
