One of the things that we always wanted to work on is the discovery of the Dinosaurs that lived on Earth 65 million years ago, since it is something that there is still a lot to learn and know!
The illustrator Francisca Palomas del Río (@palomitasdelrio) created this spectacular World Map with some of the main Dinosaurs that inhabited these lands, before their massive extinction.
She tells us: " Paleontological investigations have been able to define shapes through their bone structure, also the existence of feathers, wings and others, but it has not been possible to define the textures or colors and that allows me to make a personal proposal where I apply many details, Mixtures of bright colors, textures, all done by hand with gouache and watercolor pencils with graphite.
It was difficult for me to narrow down the number since they all had interesting characteristics.
On the other hand, it was a challenge to find species that belonged to places in the world where there is not much research. Most of the known dinosaurs belong to the US, but that doesn't mean they didn't exist elsewhere.
The representation and location of each species within the map are schematically plotted, the actual scale and exact location appear in the information below."
