"When a project has as its protagonist two of the themes that I like to illustrate the most, a separate enthusiasm is born in me.
In the foreground or background, botany, nature, is always there. And I realize that more and more is gaining ground.
I loved being able to focus on South America and all its countries, since we somehow have a lot of shared nature.
The roots of the trees are the strongest, the ones that cling to the ground and when the tree grows, it lays the foundations for other lives. It generates burrows, nests, and even houses other plants such as vines. And something like this happens with the women who pave the way for us, the ones who helped us grow and the ones who contributed with their lives, jobs and experiences that guide us today.
